Photos of the Hall

These are a few photos we had lying around.

April23Banquet

Banquets are fabulous in Tuscan Hall. Which is home to the
Quixote Collection of fine art, gathered from around the world.
Included are an engraved, 400 year-old Spanish sword from the early 1600s,
an authentic, signed Picasso and many other museum quality pieces.

Outside At Tuscan Hall is as beautiful as inside.
You’ll enjoy a leisurely walk around.

At the edge of metro Austin, Tuscan Hall hovers on the fringe
of a rock plateau at the entrance to the Texas Hill Country.

The 28-inch copper bowl in the pool will soon be the cradle of a romantic flame,
like the torch that burns during the Olympics. Pennie calls it “Roy’s big bowl of fire.”

Architect Marley Porter relaxes outside the service entrance. Tuscan Hall and
Chapel Dulcinea (as well as Austin’s famed One World Theater) are among his
architectural jewels scattered across the southern US. His buildings are easy to find.
Just drive toward the spot where the skyline seems to sparkle and beneath
that glow you’ll usually find a building designed by Marley Porter.

A Projection Screen 16 feet wide and 12 feet tall hides above the arched door.
It can be electronically lowered from a booth on the catwalk that houses a
7,000 lumen projector which fills the big screen perfectly.

Located a 3-minute walk from Tuscan Hall, Chapel Dulcinea dangles her legs
daringly off the edge of a cliff as she sits on an ancient walking trail.
It’s a wonderful place to sit and think. Visitors are always welcome.
